How To Build Authority With Just 1 Sentence

LinkedIn writing hack that got me 100+ leads

In the last 90 days, I have generated over 100 leads on LinkedIn. And I noticed that the majority of the time when my DMs would go off was when I did a certain type of post.

It wasn’t the usual type of sales post that I’m running this week to promote my bootcamp.

It was in fact authority-driven posts. They’re incredible at establishing instant trust with your audience.

And most people think they need to give a lot of “context” to build authority. Wrong.

You can do that in just one short sentence i.e. a strong hook.

Let me show you a few examples.

Example #1:

“Here are 5 career lessons that stuck with me”

Imagine if Eric had started his post like that, would you have read it?

Now look at the difference the first sentence of his post made. It established instant credibility & interest:

Example #2:

Jesscia shared some incredible insights about the changes in the marketing industry here.

By starting her post mentioning she’s been in leadership positions for many years, she established instant credibility that she knows what she’s talking about.

Undoubtedly, the post went viral.

Example #3:

Here’s a sneak peak to my post in the next 3 hours. I’ve applied the same tactic here.

Before sharing 15 LinkedIn tips, I’ve established my credibility in the first sentence that this is WHY you should listen to me.

This is an incredible hack to stand out as the go-to person in your niche.

Before sharing your best tips & tricks, quickly establish your credibility in a short powerful first sentence i.e. the hook. And watch the difference it’d make to your enagagement and conversion metrics.

P.S. I’m hosting a complete workshop on “How to write high-conversion content” on Day 02 of my 3-day LIVE LinkedIn Bootcamp.

Grab your spot at the bootcamp before it sells out!

Cheers,
