Hey, as you might know by now, I almost lost my LinkedIn account of 110,000+ followers, 9,500+ connections.
It was a huge wake up call for me to start prioritizing my email list. As you truly helped me get my account back.
Although I’ve grown to almost 8,000 email subscribers via LinkedIn, it is quite hard to grow an independent newsletter. Which is why I’ve decided to move us to Substack!
Also, I’m calling it The Digital Founder.
There are a few reasons for that, but one of the biggest one is that I want the newsletter itself to become a much bigger part of what I’m building. Not just somewhere I occasionally send LinkedIn tips, but somewhere I can go deeper than that.
I want it to be about how you can actually build a profitable online business today. That includes LinkedIn, but you need to learn sales, funnels, personal branding and so much more.
I’ll be covering topics like:
How to build an “online offer” people buy.
How to position and price yourself to clients.
How to build an audience and personal brand (on LinkedIn).
How to turn that audience into leads and customers $$.
How to use AI to speed up parts of your digital business.
How to create better content without spending your whole day on it.
How to build systems that make the business easier to run.
LinkedIn will still be a big part of it.
But I also want to share more of the things I’ve learned from building a 6-figure digital business; working with clients and trying to make all of this more efficient.
AI is a good example.
I’m not that interested in sharing random tools just because they’re new. I’m much more interested in showing you how I’m using AI to save time inside the business.
For example, I’ve built a custom GPT around the way I write this very newsletter.
I feed it my idea, the angle and the context, and it does 70% of the initial work for me. I then edit it, add my own stories and change anything that doesn’t sound like me, but it removes a huge amount of work for me.
That’s the kind of knowledge I want to share more of. My custom GPTs, notion systems and LinkedIn templates.
Since I will be spilling tea on all my systems, some of my substacks will be paid.
My LinkedIn strategy session guide
Client frameworks
Content systems
AI workflows
Prompts and templates
The paid plan will be around £20.
And the way I see it, if I normally charge £500 for a strategy call, being able to access the thinking and systems behind that work for around £20 should be a very good deal.
I also want to keep the balance right.
The free newsletter will still be genuinely useful. I don’t want to turn every good idea into a paywall, but the paid side will be where I can go much deeper and share the exact systems, processes and resources behind the work.
That’s really what The Digital Founder is going to be about.
Building the offer, growing the audience, using AI to move faster and putting better systems around the business.
You’ll hopefully receive the next email from Substack!
See you then.
Best,
Fatima Khan
